Some people like to know a little about the author so here goes…
I live in the mountains. I am a nurse. I am the oldest of four adopted children. My family lives in Texas. Most of my friends don’t live in the same county as I do. I love being outside. My favorite season is summer. I love hiking. I love waterfalls. Growing up with mostly boys means I love football and basketball and most other sports. I’d rather drive a truck than a car. I graduated from being homeschool in 2005 and then went on several mission trips and helped around my dad’s church and my siblings schooling…
In 2009 I graduated from nursing school at Schreiner University. Shortly after graduating, I moved to the Dominican Republic to help out “Dr. Bob” with the medical missions there and in Haiti following the earthquake in January 2010.
After returning to the States I moved to North Carolina.
Currently, I work with Bayada Home Health Care as a Pediatric Nurse. I have a regular three year old patient that keeps me on my toes. I studied American Sign Language for the past couple years and this summer am starting my bachelor’s degree requirements at Appalachian State University here in Boone, NC.
The Lord has continued to bless my life, and my goal is to not waste it.
I pray that my life will reflect His love for me and that I can cause others to want to give their lives to Him as well.
